Reposted from @melissaearnestofficial Important Facts About Carolyn Bryant(Wren, Chandler) Donham That You Must Know 🔴She is NOT deceased. 🔴The night that Emmett Till was kidnapped, he was taken out to a truck and presented to a woman in a truck and she was heard identifying Emmett. 🔴There was a warrant issued for her arrest, on the grounds of kidnapping. The warrant was never served because sheriff Strider said that Carolyn had children. In June 2022, the unserved warrant was located in the basement of the Greenwood Leflore Courthouse. Mississippi does not have warrant expiration laws!!! 🔴From the time the alleged wolf whistle occurred, until she took the stand, her story changed multiple times. 🔴From the stand, she lied about what Emmett allegedly said to her and she also lied about Emmett touching her. 🔴From the stand she lied about Emmett NOT having a speech impediment. HE DID have a speech impediment and walked with a permanent limp due to contracting polio early in his childhood. 🔴It is documented, in court transcripts, during the trial, that Carolyn referred to 14 year old Emmett Till as a “n*****r man.” 🔴Emmett’s mother, Mamie Till Mobley, was not allowed to be in the courtroom when Carolyn took the stand. 🔴Justice can still be served. There is no statue of limitations here in Mississippi on murder, kidnapping, or culpable negligence! 🔴Her own former sister in law, Juanita Milam, debunked Carolyn’s story, according to FBI files 🔴 This case has been opened and closed numerous times but it is ultimately up to District Attorney Dewayne Richardson to move forward. It has been 67 YEARS! It’s time! ➡️Please call his office and email asking that Carolyn Bryant Donham be indicted for her role in Emmett’s kidnapping and murder: dewayne@msdeltada.com; 662.378.2105 ➡️Please text the word EMMETT to 243725 to have the #JusticeForEmmettTill petition ➡️ Please follow @emmetttilllegacyfoundation for more information on Emmett’s case and his legacy ➡️ Please go see @tillmovie in theaters everywhere starting Friday, October 28th.
