Born from Bo Legs — grown into Atlanta’s sound.
A SWATS Entertainment cultural project that began as the soundtrack to the Bo Legs Documentary and evolved into a megamix series featuring 35+ Atlanta artists, signature events, and a year-round cultural surface.
Origin Story
Old Atlanta didn’t start as a brand — it started as a piece of music made for a film about a man who shaped a city.
SWATS Entertainment commissioned the Bo Legs Documentary to tell the story of Marvin Arrington, Sr. — the former Atlanta Council President whose civic legacy parallels the modern growth of Atlanta itself. The soundtrack needed to carry that weight: rooted in Atlanta sound, honoring the artists who built it, and speaking to the city the documentary celebrates.
That soundtrack became Old Atlanta — and the response made it impossible to keep contained. What started as scoring a single film grew into a megamix series, a multi-artist showcase, an annual cultural moment, and a year-round brand surface that lives across streaming, social, and the events calendar.
