For more than three decades, SWATS has built a platform spanning film, music, marketing, public relations, and event production. From corporate special events to product promotional campaigns to musical releases for politicians, SWATS handles it all.
Our product placement and promotion services provide direct customer contact with minority consumers — specifically African-American and Latino-American audiences aged 21–40. “Street teams” reach consumers with direct marketing, while our digital platforms reach hundreds of thousands across the country.
SWATS operates across 11 city markets — from our home base in Atlanta to international footprints in London and Johannesburg.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Marvin is a renowned “Super” lawyer with over 25 years of litigation and judicial experience and serves as District 5 Commissioner of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. The son of Marvin Arrington, Sr. (retired Fulton County Superior Court Justice and former City of Atlanta Council President) and Marilyn Arrington (a retired educator), Marvin adheres to a strong creed of community service and empowerment.
As an entrepreneur, Marvin is a filmmaker, author, and founder of various regional events and initiatives — including the SWATS entertainment platform, the Bo Legs Documentary, the Pantheon Documentary, and A Time To Yell. As an attorney, Marvin is a partner at Arrington & Phillips, LLP, and principal at Arrington Law. A graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, the University of Virginia, and Emory Law School, Marvin is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi and the proud father of four daughters.
